Inside the envelope, printed in light gray, is a safety printing consisting of diamonds, each one containing a small Shield of the Republic. In the center position inside the back flap, the shield is smaller and appears on a white background within two concentric circles. In the lower part of the inside the text "REPUBLICA DE CUBA/CORREOS" is printed in reverse so that it is correctly read from the front when a light is shined from the back. The larger envelopes have bigger designs than the smaller ones.

Dentro del sobre, impreso en gris, se encuentra un patrón de seguridad que consiste en diamantes que contienen un pequeño Escudo de la Republica. En el centro de la solapa se encuentra un escudo más pequeño dentro de dos círculos concéntricos y fondo en blanco. En la parte inferior de adentro aparece el texto en blanco "REPUBLICA DE CUBA/CORREOS" en reverso, de manera que se lea correctamente a trasluz desde el frente del sobre. Los sobres más grandes tienen el diseño más grande que los pequeños.
